Avoiding change fatigue
Evolution without loss
Tim Woodgett spends his time delivering effective change programmes. He appears to be adjusting Darwin’s quote for modern times, ensuring his employer and employees can evolve in mutually beneficial synchronicity.
“In the struggle for survival, the fittest win out at the expense of their rivals because they succeed in adapting themselves best to their environment.”
Judges were impressed with the time Tim had taken to review the psychological effects of change on all the individuals involved. He is leading in an environment where organisations are evolving much faster than us mere humans are used to. As a result, Tim describes using surveys to measure internal “change fatigue” and adjusting the change curve appropriately.
Tim has been happy to share his work through external events and, unsurprisingly given his passion for the well–being of his stakeholders, has also been creating a mental health network across the market to encourage deeper communication about the issue.
